Purpose-built for IP and litigation teams, iLumOS brings the firm’s decade of frontline patent work into an intelligence platform that does in minutes what today takes law firms and patent owners months
AUSTIN, TX – June 15, 2026: Lumenci, the IP services firm behind more than $3.5 billion in verdicts, settlements, and cost savings for its clients, today launched iLumOS, an AI-powered patent portfolio analysis platform built specifically for IP law firms, patent owners, and IP litigation funding teams.
Patent portfolio analysis is one of the most resource-intensive stages in IP monetization. A standard high-medium-low (HML) triage of a portfolio, identifying which patents have real infringement potential, which can support licensing, and which should be deprioritized, typically takes a team of attorneys and associates one to three months to complete, even when portions of this analyses is outsourced to external trusted experts. Developing the collateral required for litigation funding or case filing adds another three to four months on top of that.
For firms managing multiple matters in parallel, or for patent owners trying to qualify portfolios for litigation funding or filing, that timeline is a structural bottleneck. iLumOS closes it.
The platform analyzes portfolios of any size and returns structured output in minutes. Each patent is scored across four dimensions: strength, quality, infringement signal, and validity resilience. Patents flagged as high-value with meaningful infringement signals, are marked immediately. The result is that what previously required sequential manual review across weeks of attorney and expert time becomes a decision-ready output teams can act on the same day.
Lumenci is not a software company that built a patent tool and hired IP consultants to support it. The firm has spent years directly executing patent analysis, infringement reviews, validity work, litigation diligence, and licensing support for over 200 clients across more than 100,000 patents analyzed, work that produced over $3.5 billion in verdicts, settlements, and cost savings.
That operational record is what makes iLumOS different from every other AI tool in the market: the platform was built by people who have done this work themselves, which means it is calibrated to what actually matters in a real monetization workflow, not what looks good in a product demo.
And the software does not stand alone. Lumenci’s expert team handles the second stage, including prior art searches, claim charts, damages, and other inputs needed for creating high quality funding memos. This enables law firm partners to get to a single integrated path from a raw portfolio to funding-ready decisions. Together, the two stages compress what is typically a four-to-seven-month cycle down to a handful of weeks.
Speaking about this launch Co-Founder and CEO of Lumenci, Harish Daiya, said “we built iLumOS because we kept running into similar problem patterns with customers: good opportunities were getting stuck in queues, not because the cases weren’t strong, but because evaluating them took months that nobody had to spare. iLumOS gives teams that time back. It doesn’t replace the judgment that comes from years of doing this work, but it means that judgment now gets applied to every patent in a portfolio, not just the ones that made it to the top of the pile”.
Kalyan Banerjee, Co-Founder and CGO of Lumenci added, “most AI tools in this space were built by people who understand software but not the day-to-day reality of patent litigation and licensing. We built iLumOS the other way around. We knew exactly what an attorney needs to see in the first five minutes of looking at a portfolio, because we’ve been that attorney. That’s the gap iLumOS fills, and it’s why we think it’s different from anything else available today.”
iLumOS is currently being rolled out to a select group of design partner firms. If you’d like to explore early access or a partnership for your team, reach out to us or you can join the waitlist here.
